Iraq, 1929 (Jan. 3), Baghdad - Karachi First Flight by De Sibour, two multi-frank covers, one mounted on exhibit page, flown by special flight by Viscount and Viscountess Jacques de Sibour [née Violette Selfridge, daughter of Harry Gordon Selfridge]; stamps tied by special boxed cachet "'IRAQ TO INDIA/By Light Aeroplane/With Vct. and Vctess./J. de Sibour.", one addressed to Sabri Tarzian, the second to Solomon Joseph; origin and receiver c.d.s.'s on reverse; cover to Joseph stained, still a Very Fine duo, only 50 covers were flown - and here are two of them. Muller 18: 9,000 points. Estimate $300 - 400.
