A collection of 15 settlement tax stamps, the Bank Mark series and the Insurance Mark series.
The 'Settlement Tax' was collection of taxes for the security needs of the settlements in the days before the establishment of the State. The fund operated by collecting taxes from the Jewish settlements in Israel and from donations. The indirect tax was imposed on travels by public transports, cigarettes, banks, insurance companies and the like. Confirmation of the payment of the indirect tax was settlement tax stamps.
