South Africa 1933 JUL.7 Karachi to Calcutta  First Extension Flight Cover with Karachi to Calcutta boxed cachet as last leg on a Registered cover originally posted from  Cape town  4d & 1d. Air and 3d pictorials tied by  'House of parliament June 20 1933' cds. arrival cds on back.
The first flight by the Indian Trans-Continental Airways was from Karachi to Calcutta via Jodhpur, Delhi, Cawnpore, Allahabad and Asansol. Mail for this flight had left Croydon on 1 July 1933 and, at Cairo, connected with the incoming flight from South Africa, South West Africa and Rhodesia. The mails were transferred to the Imperial Airways airliner Hanno (a Handley Page HP42 G-AAUD) which left for Karachi via Bahrain and Sharjah on 5 July.  There the flight was continued by the Indian Trans-Continental airliner Arethusa (an Armstrong Whitworth AW15 Atalanta VT-AEF).

South Africa 1918, 'MAKE YOU SIXPENCE FLY' aerial first flight postcard to Observatory.

1918 (OCT.7.) AERIAL POST CARD addressed locally to Observatory with 'crested flying wings' MAKE YOUR SIXPENCE FLY inscription bearing 1/2d green 'head' adhesive tied by AERIAL POST/SOUTH AFRICA cds. Some edge crumpling at right but a scarce first flight card with small message reading 'The war will soon be over'.

INDIA, Covers sent by air, the 1920s to '30s,  from India to England,  with circular in black "BY AIR",  also one cover sent in 1875,   Cover sent to Manchester from London in 1909,  Cover sent from Nederlands to London with "Postage Due" stamp,  Cover sent in 1932,  from Italy to London with three postage stamps on reverse.

AUSTRIA, Notverordnungsrakete N3 from Schmiedl,  sent from Pernegg,   dated 10.04.1935, cachet in red,  originals signed by Schmiedl, 80 flown items are known.
