1858 - 1d Rose-red block of twenty-four from Plate 121 letterrd "F-A" to "I-F" in superd unmounted mint condition with excellent centering across the entire block. There is the odd perf seperation mentioned for accuracy - a rare block so large and so fone. SG £ 1440.
1882 £5 Orange Pl.1. Very fine used example lettered BK, neatly cancelled by a crisp CHE....R cds for JA.25.1900. Most attractive.

1760 Entire Letter to Mr. Collingwood, in the Hospitall for Exposed and Deserted Young Children in Londn (sic) with good Dockwra Temple Office, BCC 357a, reversed 'N' Rated G2 early for this. The letter 'N' in the date stamps is reversed. Paid is spelled payd as was common in the 18th century.
1763, Entire letter to Mr. Collingwood in the Foundling Hospitall (sic) London with Dockwre Type 'Penny Post' stamp informing him of a payment made for the care of the children under his auspices.
1824 printed school bill totaling £51-13s- for half a year. Items include "Wine daily by Desire", Windsor Soap', "Military Exercise", Apothecary's Bill", Shoe Strrings", "Letters and Parcels", etc, etc.
1941 Postal Telegram envelope with KGVI 2 1/2d stamp perforated C & W by Cable and Wireless Ltd, sent to the parents of a child evacuee, sent to South Africa in terms of a scheme pormoted by the Government. The children were permitted free telegrams once a month, fully subsidised by Cable and Wireless. With original contents and pictorial complimentes alip illustrating a child on his scooter.
