The wording of the post card translated: "Dearest Mrs. Schuch and 'My Lord' We were fetched on Friday evening and now it is Saterday afternoon 8 o'clock, we have just passed through Gouda. We are in good spirits. We go to Westerbork. When i write again please send the parcel. Please write to Eda. Do not forget us. Many kisses for the three of you. Marieke.

1939, THE ORIGINAL J MARKED REISEPASS OR PASSPORT OF A MAN WHO WAS IMPRISONED AT CONCENTRATION CAMP, SURVIVED AND FLED TO UNITED KINGDOM. "Reisepass"passport of IDA Sara Kohn issued 6th april 1939 in Frankfurt {Main} showing the big red "J" for jew. The addition of a middle name to signify a jew - "ISRAEL" for a male & "Sara" for a female. Card D 3890 visa granted for United Kingdom issued 25th April 1939 - admitted 22nd June 1939.
