First flights & commercial flights

Lot of 244+ airmail stamps on First Day Covers (FDCs) 1924-1945. Many are first flight covers of early airmail routes and First Day of Issue stamps, with a few from air races and Zepplin flights. Most are in a ring binder. There is another small group in a mailing envelope.A few examples:1929, LZ 127 First American Flight, to USA, cover franked 4m. C367, it also has the red interruption of flight cachet "Beforderung-verzogert wegen Abbruchs der 1. Amerikafahrt" and blue flight cachet1930 Graf Zeppelin complete (Scott C13-C15), each with appropriate red Sudamerikafahrt cachet and magenta First Europe Pan-America Round Flight cachets:65¢ on card tied w. back stamped with green Lakehurst, N.J. May 31, 1930 Graf Zeppelin slogan receiving cancel on reverse.$1.3 tied to card with Lakehurst, N.J. May 10, 1930 slogan machine cancel; $2.60 tied to airmail cover with Varick. St. Sta. N.Y. Apr 26, 1930 and back stamped with gGermany, 1934 Thale Germany Experimental Rocket Flight Airmail cover Zucker Signed. include a set of 3 stamps perforated. GERMANY 1933, Zucker Rocket Mail Imperf Stamps Flown Cover Wagner. Used cover flown with Gerhard Zucker night rocket from Hasselfeld, and then sent through the mails with Wagner franking and imperf (scarce) 2. Raketenstart rocket stamps. Signed by the engineer-creator, Zucker. Also with Thalendorf ueber Rottenbach handstamp. Franked with 1924 airmail set- Black surcharge on 1923 USSR Airmail (SU XVI) set of 4 values 5k-20k (MiNr: 267-270; Scott C6-C9;  Yt. PA14-PA17; SG. 417-420) Deruluft air mail cachet. Arrival at Riga, 10.5.28. Russia 1928 (May 9) Soviet Union, USSR  Registered Air Mail Cover Moscow to Riga, Latvia. Cover showing Airmail label and cachet, bearing two sets of the Aircraft ANT-3 Over World Map set of 2 values 15k & 10k (Mi:326-327; Scott C10-C11; Yt: PA18 -19; SG. 499-500),  Deruluft air mail cachet and arrival Riga 10.5.28.    Russia 1928 (Nov. 1) Latvia, Riga Latwija Registered airmail, R label, franked with triangular airmail stamps Airplane over Riga 10s Imperf. ; 20s. Imperf. (Mi:LV 76B, Yt: PA2(B), SG. 85); ,25s. Perf. with USSR air mail cachet sent via Berlin-Zentralflughafen to Erfurt, arrive 7.11.1928 BerlinLuxembourg 1935 (July 17) This remarkable flight was organized by the famous rocketeer of the 1930s, Karl Roberti. The covers bear a 10c Intellectuals stamp with a "Visitez / Clervaux / Son Abbaye / Son Château" slogan cancellation as well as two private Roberti labels (one green, one brown) showing his rocket in flight above Clervaux. The two labels are cancelled with a purple cachet that reads "1. Raketenflug / Mit flüssige treibstoffen / (Kohlensäurerakete) / Clerf-Clervaux 17-7-35 / R.Kr.1 Luxemburgia" (translation: 1st rocket flight; With liquid propellant; (Carbonic acid rocket)). The cover is also signed by RobertiIndochina 1930 airmail covers:1) 20th Anniversary of First Flight December 1930 commemorative cachet struck with blue ink on this airmail cover to France, postmarked: SAIGON-CENTRAL COCHINCHINE 26-12 30.2)Saigon to Hong Kong China 28 - Richard Lloyd, Grover Bowers, Shirley Darnell.Southern Rhodesia 1932. Airmail First Flight 8p. Registered cover from Bulawayo Southern Rhodesia To Cape Town South Africa. Beautiful transit cancels Salt River, Johannesburg, Cape Town Postmarked in January 30, 1932.Netherlands, 1928 (Nov 27), John Carberry Flight, Amsterdam - Cairo, pictorial envelope featuring Carberry''s plane, "Miss Africa" franked with two special labels tied by Schipol Aerodrome, Amsterdam boxed flight cachets/cancels; addressed to Carberry in Cairo and reposted to London with Egyptian stamp tied on the reverse by Dec 6 Cairo machine cancel. Numbered 9 of only 40 covers were carried. Muller 62.
