Alex Henshaw A Flying Legend, (British air racer in the 1930s and a test pilot for Vickers Armstrong during  World War II .) hand-written  and signed letter dated Feb 8 1939 following his record-breaking 12,754-mile solo flight from Gravesend to Cape Town and back. also another postcard of his plane the G-AEXF postmarked CapeTown  airport Feb 8 1939 and London east airpot Feb 9 1939.
