On the same street, from Molmar, there were other synagogues ("Praterna" and "AB Zissu") and a ritual bath that were destroyed in 1986-1987 [1] [1] as part of the "Renovation of the Bucharest Civil Center" President Ceausescu. [2] [2] The community of the synagogue was established in 1836 by the Jewish tailors' guild in the neighborhood, which was called "the wish of the Boars of Popst." Starting in 1978, the building was first built in 1852 and rebuilt in 1913, hosting the "Museum of the History of Romanian Jewry in the Name of Rabbi Dr. David Moshe Rosen".
