This series was issued in a limited edition of 1,499 units. Each medal incorporates a colored slide of one of the twelve stained glass windows that Chagall painted on the synagogue windows of Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem.
The medals are made of sterling silver, with a 24-karat gold-plated brass hoop.
